I came across these images this morning.
Photographs taken the day before my dad’s funeral of his house after it had
been cleared. The evidence of human existence. The materials hold the memory of
repeated actions over years. My Auntie lived in the house before so some of the
marks were over 50 plus years, especially in the more private spaces, under the
stairs and in the larder.
