Working on new films to project into spaces and onto things. Stills of burning books from the latest film. 2 truly great sessions at Snape as part of the Festival of the New. Highlights included Sonnen https://www.instagram.com/sonnenmusic/?hl=en with their great knob twiddling sounds and Thabo https://open.spotify.com/artist/0Xby6OpjBTxkbiGyhJU8RA a whole experience in a tent. They both created great vibes and were really nice people into the bargain. Onto screens - it took until the 5^th episode to work out the tone of The Chair – it’s a cartoon and when that’s established in the mind it moves from a what? to an ok? Our Ladies – I think I may have missed the point of this and found it not so good. Deep into Mr Corman and enjoying the male position on dealing with life and stuff!

I've been thinking about the films made with 3D printing - projecting them in an empty and abandoned buildings. The spaces provide a new context and projecting them feels like you are in dialogue. I am thinking about and making new films with a view to where they might be projected. onto screens – Stillwater – slow twists with Matt at the helm. The Courier - slow twists with Benedict at the helm.

just undertaken the first of two days - working in public -  at the castle museum - within their build your own exhibition. I'm looking at bringing together various strands of my recent practice - the smocking / book structures / robotics /nano technology around folding within the idea of creating spaces that move. The work begins to explore the virtual and physical interfacing through film and structure. It's an opportunity to play whilst talking to members of the public - so far really interesting conversations with a vet, an architect, a builder of yurts and a planner. Oh yes and a man who explained that a 4 year old could of done that (the rest of the exhibition) - he was disturbingly complimentary about my work!
